What are your thoughts on Northern fashion? You mentioned in an early post that it would be different depending on the location, can you elaborate on that? I also feel like the style changed soon after Catelyn married Ned, since she would bring styles from the Riverlands and Winterfell is the King's Landing of the North when it comes to fashion

Let’s goooo 🏃🏻♀️
Starting in the Neck, they would definitely be more like the riverlanders in terms of clothing. It’s a fairly similar wet and muggy climate. Everything is mostly made of wool and hemp and linen. Thinner clothes for the muggy summers and warmer, thicker ones for when winter comes. Leather/animal skin shoes to keep the mud off. Also whenever I imagine the Crannogmen I imagine cloaks and hoods to stay dry in the swamps. So lots of those.
To the East and a bit father to the north, that costal area around White Harbor is colder than the Neck. So theres a lot more layers, and clothing it way thicker. Also the Manderlys are dripped tf out they got that White Harbor money. Wyman has fur lined EVERYTHING his damask coats could put Cerseis to shame. Wylla and Wynafred pull up to the Sept with lace and silk and jewels eating all the other bitches up. Also since they follow the Faith and are originally southern, this area probably follows more southern customs (fabrics, headpieces, etc)
And we finally make it to winterfell 🤸🏻♀️At this point everyone’s freezing their tits off, so fur lined everything. Indoors, I think they can wear lighter stuff bc of those hot springs. Even in the spring months, you can catch Cat wearing at least one shift, underdress, overdress, AND a jacket bc I feel like she never acclimated to the cold. Lots of leather and wool for everyday wear, but when Ned throws a feast or something they get to wear more fur and velvet (even Jon gets to wear a nice velvet surcoat, as a treat). Since the Starks are bordering on ascetic sometimes, there isn’t a ton of ornamentation, but Sansa likes to wear southern-ish styles as much as she can, so you can frequently find her wearing clothes from white harbor (aka I want to see Sansa in a kokoshnik)
And then even farther north we start to see Bolton and Umber territory. The conditions are even more brutal than at Winterfell and they don’t even have hot springs :/ like Sansa and Arya could probably get away with not having to cover their ears during warmer days, but the girls of last hearth and the dreadfort have no warm days. At this point clothing becomes a bit bulky and harder to move around in. Dresses are lined stiffly and almost drag the floor, and everyone is always bundled up to the neck. However materials and fabrics are cohesive and nice atp.
And by the time we nearly reach the wall, conditions are almost unbearable during the winter. Even during spring, all the villagers in the gift are wearing at least four layers (bc I hate hate hate how the show made the people at and around the wall just chill in a thin jacket when they were near a gargantuan frozen block of ice). Clothing is a lot less structured here, resources are getting sparse so most people stitch together a patchwork of whatever furs they can get their hands on. You will rarely see a person without a big hood or thick gloves on. And even though they aren’t wildlings, you can probably see a lot of animal head hoods, bc these people do NOT waste any part of the animal
wait i’m always referring to the planet westeros is on as “terros” is planetos and i’ve just been gaslighting myself this whole time lol
They're all fan names for the world of ASOIAF. The only actual canon names used in the books are "the world" or "the earth" or "this world of ice and fire". (And they refer to other planets as "wanderers".)
"Planetos" was developed by fans on westeros.org and picked up by reddit and elsewhere. "Terros" was invented by David J. Peterson (conlanger for GOT and HOTD) after he heard "Planetos" and thought it sounded clunky (because it is, it really sucks lol), but it's not been used in the shows at all. (Vȳs is his High Valyrian for "the world" though, and rhaesheser is his Dothraki.)
Personally I far prefer "Terros" if I have to use a word to indicate the world of ASOIAF (and its different geology, history, etc), but people can do as they like.
Kuroshitsuji: Book of Shadows | AkaKuro AU
Akashi Seijuro as the Absolute Demon Butler
Kuroko Tetsuya as the Shadowy Queen’s Watchdog

These prompts were requested by @shadowykidmakeregg! We had touched upon a couple different themes/categories for prompts so there's a mix in this list.
Prompts requested were:
- For those who are no longer friends but when one of them gets new friends the old ones start 'sabotaging' the new group. The groups are also sports team members.
- angst/whump shapeshifter au prompts
- torture prompts
Unfortunately I could only come up with a few and I don't usually dabble in the last two for one reason or another so this list is on the shorter side and some of these might not be the best - sorry! As always though, feel free to tweak these to fit your story!
For torture prompts I also have this and this prompt that could be taken as such!
1. Shapeshifter is forced to stay in a certain form because of their surroundings (ex: must stay a small animal because they’re in a small space). Only problem is staying in another form has some serious drawbacks…
2. Shapeshifter!Whumpee catches an illness that only affects what they’ve turned into (like animal specific kind of illnesses). Turning back to their original form makes it worse and whumpee is unable to take care of themselves in their other form. It’s up to Caretaker to look after them.
3. “This…” they watch as their captor careless swings a liquid filled syringe in the air. A burning dread heats up their insides. “This may hurt a bit.”
4. “What if I," immediately a jolt of pain shoots through their body, "press here?”
5. Character A - who has always exhibited a strong will and mental strength, never one to yield or bow their head in defeat - now lays before B, sobbing for them to stop, to let them go. In other words: B has destroyed A.
6. When confronting the old friend group about an incident, the character is forced to believe it was their new friends who did it after receiving a very convincing denial, ‘proof’ and all.
7. “Are you sure it wasn’t (new friend)? They have access to your locker right?”
8. “It has to have been you! You’re the only one I told about this!”
9. As a way to lose trust among the group, the old friend group does little things to irk the new group. Things that could be brushed off as coincidences or accidents until it’s too much to be such. (Prompt 10 can kinda go with this!)
10. “Then how did it get into your bag!?”
11. Another idea that goes with #9 is to break all the sports equipment, again as a way to shatter the trust among the group (because of course it could only be someone within the group, right?)
12. Scare the captured character by making them believe they were forgotten about by their captor
13. For added angst make the captor someone the captured knows >:)
Some of my favorite magic side effects:
-Nosebleeds. Never gets old.
-Coughing up blood. The good ol’ “cough into your hand and pull it back to see blood” also never gets old.
-Headaches. You keep fighting as your head pounds, desperately telling you to take a break. At first they fade within minutes when you stop using magic, but overtime, they become chronic.
-Fatigue. After a big battle, you stand triumphant, and then just fall asleep on the spot.
-In a similar vein, overuse causing you to straight up faint rather than just fall asleep. Darkness begins to overtake your vision in the middle of battle, unconsciousness abruptly looming over you.
-Any of the side effects happening to another person. Maybe two close characters are connected, and whatever side effects character A would normally endure are transferred to character B. When A uses a blast of magic B screams loudly because holy shit that hurt.
-Magic gradually deteriorating your mind. Using it too much eventually caused hallucinations and an inability to retain memories, or even larger scale memory loss.
Feel free to add more, I’m looking for some to steal
Just after Amenadiel leaves for Heaven with Charlotte, Lucifer is talkied into watching the entire series of AtLA with Trixie. He sees a lot of himself in Zuko and of Azula in his twin Michael. Worried that Michael will eventually snap under the pressure of being “Daddy’s good little soldier” he starts planning ways to kidnap his brother from Heaven and get him into therapy.

After graduating with honors your grandmother Baba Yaga brought you a home. It’s the offspring of her house. It’s a tiny little hut right now but she explains it will get bigger as it gets older. However the hut is a little clingy, follows you everywhere since it’s afraid it will be abandoned.
